A year ago I was afraid to type my name, let alone tell anyone my full name - why? Because I was a victim of Internet Defamation in the worse form. Even though I have run a very successful organization for 7 years helping thousands of satisfied clients, it only took one person to turn my life upspide down when she tried to destroy my reputation online.

If you have read my earlier Blogs, you will be aware of the legal battles I have been through. Although I prevailed in two jury trials it did not erase the malicious attacks that were present on the the Internet. For that, I needed to go a step further.

I won an $11.3M jury verdict and judgment, yet the ugliness of false information about my organization (P.U.R.E.) and myself were still there. Winning a defamation case is not easy, but when you have the truth on your side - like I did in both cases - if you can sustain litigation both financially and emotionally - you may have a positive ending as I did. The truth prevailed!

Many cannot afford the high costs of litigation or may not have a strong case, however that doesn't take away from the fact you are being harmed in Cyberspace.

With this - I would highly recommend Reputation Defender - they truly were a lifesaver for me. When I first spoke with Michael Fertik, the CEO, he assured me that they could handle my case. I was extremely skeptical at first, but within months saw dramatic improvement in the searches on the Internet.

Reputation Defender has been priceless for me and far less expensive than litigation. Many ask how much does it cost, and you have to ask yourself, what is your reputation worth? Without a good reputation, your business could see a slow demise. Many organizations are built on reputation and word of mouth and in today's Internet World - they are based on Google Searches!

I recall Michael Fertik telling me not to worry, they have my back - at the time, I was thinking - sure, you have no clue how bad this is - but as time progressed - he wasn't kidding!

I know by writing this Blog the people that want to hurt me will try again, but I have faith in Reputation Defender and Michael Fertik (and his MyEdge team)- and I think it is more important to tell my story of success to hopefully help others. That is what my organization is about - and it is what I am about - sharing information to help others that may be in the same spot!

When people feel the need to hurt others for no reason, it is good to know that Reputation Defender can get the truth to the surface. My comments on the Forbes Article: Andy Greenberg did a wonderful article! The cooking website that Reputation Defender created for me was my fault for not letting them know I was not a kitchen person. When I saw the site I thought it was cute and harmless - however realize I should have let them know my cooking skills are limited.

For over 7 years I have run a very successful organization in helping parents - like with all businesses, you can't please everyone (thankfully we have less than a handful of unhappy clients) - but it only takes one person to ruin you on-line and your years of hard work and thousands of satisfied clients. Parent's Universal Resource Experts (P.U.R.E.) has literally helped thousands of families and is proudly a member of the Better Business Bureau for several years.

A good reputation is what many businesses are built on - word of mouth and personal referrals, now you need to be aware of your on-line reputation - since that is where many people are now searching for your information!
